Stressie is

the word as school work turns on the heat.
List of things to be done:
  1. Pick up C programming along with Handel-C for CS2106 (operating systems) and CS2271 (embedded systems)
  2. Complete the labs labs labs labs labs of 2106 and 2271
  3. CS2103 (Software Engineering) project. Ah shucks.
  4. CS2301 (Business and Technical Communication) proposal writing. Demanding tutor somemore.
  5. EE2008 (Circuits) assignments
  6. The endless tutorials
  7. Weekly pop quizzes
Meanwhile, haven't been sleeping sufficiently for the past week. 4-5 hours per night ain't doing my head any comfort, in fact it hurts at this very moment. Ouchy.

oh and i cheated, i admit, for the monkey spanking game, more or less by accident. You jus have to move the mouse pointer to the extreme right out of the game frame, circumnavigate to the extreme left of the game frame , and finally just move into the game frame. The mouse will fly and so do the monkey.

turn on the style yeayeayea.

Muahaha. At ECP mccafe. Posted by Hello

From Simpang Bedok to Home Sweet Home..

On 8 wheels! Well, rollerblades actually. Blue route is the route i took home! Journey took an hour.

Had a terrific supper at Simpang Bedok with ling, cher, jian and yao. You would not be interested but nonetheless, i gobbled:
  1. 2 X Plain Prata
  2. 1 X Cheese Prata
  3. 1/2 X Kembing Soup
  4. 2 X Teh O Ice Limau
  5. 2 mouths of mee goreng
Yummy!

Anyway, its kinda freaky i know, to blade all the way from bedok to serangoon, but its really cool during the blading journey home; its something alternative. I see and hear lotsa things that I wouldn't have seen if I have drove home as usual. No not of the supernatural kind. :/ I wouldn't see the early bus drivers waiting at the bus stops preparing to go to work in the wee hours so that we have public transport by 5+ in the morning. I wouldn't see or hear the bangras 3 on a single bicycle riding and singing happily on the empty-early-morning streets of Singapore; seeking a little respite from their work, and enjoying simple companionship far away from their homeland. I wouldn't appreciate that Singapore's roads are all concretely and amply paved with walkways. I wouldn't appreciate the well-lit streets of Singapore; the high density of lamp posts providing a constant stream of illumination; and consequentially making the roads of Singapore safer. I wouldn't know that the night could be so charming and thought-provoking indeed. Must be the chill breeze. Cool!

Well all for the day, East Coast Park might be coming up next. Tata!

And ya thanks for putting up and listening to my complaints dear.

Hear about stupid stories reenacted in VOICE!

Meanwhile, how hard have you spanked the monkey? I cant seem to get back to the 300mph :/. And no cheating by setting your mouse sensitivity to the max. If you have not spanked the monkey yet; WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?

I have a life!

cause i missed posting for the last 2 days! Yea hey!

Juz a short recap of events worth mentioning :-
On friday evening, went to this KTV pub named Zodiac 13 at Neil Road (Tanjong Pagar) with ling to meet up with her friends.
Side note: I stupidly confused maxwell food center with another food center. Well NEVERMIND.

The spectecular thing is that there's this short-puffed-haired lady.
  1. She is singing and dancing like she's 16, while her actual age should be nearer to the reverse.
  2. She sings all those 80s golden hits like its her personal concert.
  3. She asks for applause when she finish, and darn she's damn elated about it.
  4. Her dance steps reminds me of soapy 70s movies.
  5. She conveniently PLACED her hand on my thigh and STROKED ling's back when she is talking to us.
  6. She says that we are not behaving with the vitality of young people. But we seriously just wanted to sit down, chill, and yea, listening to our parent-era-song really couldn't get us to moving point.
  7. She forces people to drink.
Well basically thats that. But hell yea, she's pretty fun and entertaining.

Laters.

Literature Classic

1984
George Orwell: Nineteen Eighty-Four. You are the
classic warning against the threat of
totalitarianism. To you, politics and
philosophy are inseparable, authorities suck
and the reality might not exist outside our
imaginations.

Which literature classic are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

In case you were wondering about totalitarianism and I definitely don't think that authorities suck that much.

Half (a) Life...

when you are looking at this.
Tell how serious your no-lifeness is and stands to win the recognition of the most no-lifer in town.. erm.. or at least in my blog.

All you need to do is post something intelligent, witty and most importantly, no life, either in the tag board on the sidebar, or as comments to this entry. There's no limit to the number of no-life statements. The more the no-lifeness!

I'll just start off with an example:
I am so no-life that I started a no-life thread in my blog to see how many no-lifers there are.

Before and After

or was it.. hmm..

After Before

You can see more here. Kudos to digital morphing techniques!

Anyway, if you have an increasing waist line, do check out your body mass index here. It's not an exact measure, but it gives you a rather good gauge of where you are standing. Or rather where you SHOULD be standing.

Yea. I need to run. I'm getting over the line. Real fucking fat. Will have to go running, rollerblading, soccering and jamming more, i guess. Jamming, is good exercise seriously, and feels damn good too!
But hey no, not masturbation. If its good exercise, there will be no fat guys around.
Well, there as it is, leave me a message if you wanna work out yea!

On a side note, read tales of survival from the tsunami disaster! Feel lucky to be alive! And oh yea, here's a short course on How to be lucky, just for reference's sake.

Friendly Email Address. Eeps.

For those NUS nerds out there, NUS has finally realised that the current naming convention for their exchange email, which is based on login userid, is a fuckin bad idea (for example it used to be u0307741@nus.edu.sg). Obviously someone with better common sense up there has came up with a Friendly Email Address scheme to provide students with an alternative email address name. Oh yea the lameass name, Friendly Email Address, someone needs to provide the university with a thesaurus.

With the new Friendly Email Address, you can change your email to something like averygoodman@nus.edu.sg ; no longer the degratory string of numbers that only weirdos will identify with. Ah, a touch of humanity.

Deeds today includes

the usual msn greetings,
blog readings,
gunbounded with vic,
ling came over to my place and we slackslackslack,
bought her contacts lenses,
watched Ocean 12,
ate riverside BBQ chicken drumstix,
took long and nice bus ride home,
and now this.

Very Tired And

Before i sleep, let me say thanks girl for sweating it out with me for the whole day at the Substation! You be da nicest and bestest girlfren lo! :).

Rained the whole day resulting in us moving Stasis VII indoors from The Garden to The Guiness Theatre. And its like so cramped in there. Ahh.

Did ticketing for the whole day: chopping (stamps), counting money, cable tying, chopping (stamps), countin money, cable tying, chopping (stamps), counting money, cable tying, chopping...

THE TICKET. Obviously.

Stellarnova did a damn short set of 20 mins, and boy were we glad that the crowd were awesome. I cant describe the feeling, but its real cool to see people dancing and grooving and feeling for your music. Amazing.

Out for the nite. ZZZ.

Moving Pictures

Free happy meal here!
Rolling Good ol' arcade hockey.
And the talk about dodging people.
Move aside shaolin soccer! Nifty.
small to BIG trouble. damn it!
Someone pay for his amenities bills please. Lest he takes a public dip again.

Happy 2005 and...

... well no actually. In fact, as a start for the new year, we could all start by being good.

Anyway, that's the typical Stephen-Chow-Type Hong Kong movie for you. His latest show Kung Fu Hustle, as like before, pretty much slaps you in the face with toilet humour and di-jis antics. Not bad for the bored and listless.
Else Bollywood movies are good stuff too. Where they do the run-around-the-tree thingie, dancing with strangers, but with strangely very well-cordinated dance moves.
And you might have seen this before, but still funny to read again.

Great BBQ at alex's place yesterday. Some of the highlights include, giant prawns and killer crabs, thick jumbo franks, thick gravied satays and the yum-yum crabs again. Woot! We just throw slabs of butter on and watch the butter melt, and sink into the smoking red crabs. Succulent!

Happy New Year and have a smooth-sailing 2005! Meanwhile, do come for Stasis VII, tix @ $6 presale just CALL ME (details @ posting below).

And yea I'm blessed; I love you dear. ^_^
